Black Ash Bell

SKU: 3065

These  black ash and sweetgrass bells are made by Robin Lazore, Mohawk Nation, from Akwesasne Reservation.  Robin collects and prepares her own black ash splints. The aromatic sweet grass is collected near her home. Robin's tools were made by her elders who repurposed discarded metal and wood items and transformed them into basket molds and splint gauges. Robin has been a basket maker for over 20 years.    H: 3".
