Stylized, very contemporary interpretation of a face carved by artist Roy Henry of the Onondaga Nation.  Henry is from Six Nations Reserve in Ontario. Carved out of white alabaster, the head is designed to swivel on its base. Roy comes from a family of traditional wood carvers. His father, helped him understand the intricacies of carving. Roy's preferred medium is stone. He shares his knowledge of stone carving by holding classes on the reserve.  H: 7"
